Yes, the death scythe is useful even basic, but at legendary its so loving useful to kill tortoises because the loving tortoises are too loving OP

You get a True Excalibur or a True Night's Edge, but don't make either. Save up Broken Hero Swords and then make Terra Blade. (True Excalibur + True Night's Edge + Broken Hero Sword)

I know how ya feel cakey. I use magnet sphere to kill anything bothering me, Kills tortoises fast too by shocking the stuff outta them hence dealing with them rather quickly

To get money, I use a crab engine connected to a few fish statues surrounded by a shallow layer of lava. The crabs spawn fish very fast and they very quickly enter my inventory. When my inventory is full, I sell all the fish I got, which gets me about 20 gold for each set of selling fish.

I could get the money, but it will be tedious. Then again, so is farming for such a rare item.
