When I got hardmode, the next night was always a blood moon
this happened to me three times wtf

and since i live next to the corruption, well stuff

yeah blood moons are really hard in hardmode

before i got turtle armor i didn't survive a lot of the time

solar eclipses are beyond loving ridiculous. like, i know it's supposed to be difficult but random teleporting enemies like the vampires(or idk what they really were because they're so goddamn fast) with over a thousand HP is just dumb.

worst part is, if you beat a hardmode boss when you're really new in hardmode(which is now really easy because they nerfed all of the bosses, ESPECIALLY the destroyer) and you get a solar eclipse, there is an incredibly large chance you and your NPCs will be murdered brutally. it's just so crappy.

is it bad i want solar eclipses to happen more often for the broken hero swords
like i probably wouldn't ever used terra blade but i want it just to have it lol

speaking of broken hero swords i have a story to tell:

i actually managed to get one on my first (and currently only) solar eclipse
i made a second excalibur so i could make a true excalibur without giving up my legendary one
it used up my loving legendary one to craft
so i had to use up like 5 plat just to reforge the one i just made

is there a way to tell which way the wall of flesh is going to come from after you summon him

from the part of the map that you're closer to
if you're closer to the right than the left it'll come from the right
compass is the easiest way to figure this out, but you can sorta use the map too
