Got that Bone Key. What a long fight. (Killed the Dungeon Guardian)

Impressive.  I see you also have an Optic Staff, one of the more useful summon items :)

Yes. It is probably the best summon against the Dungeon Guardian, although summons are an awful way to fight it. The megashark probably would have been a better choice. There are strategies on beating it on the wiki, but I didn't really want to go too much into it.

I used Magnet Sphere and the Optic Staff.

Out of boredom for vanilla terraria, I poked around on the main forums for the game for mods to spice things up.

I Installed the popular Avalon mod, which can be found here --> http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/wip-terraria-avalon.87058/

It's pretty much an expansion to the content in Terraria.  The more prominent and seemingly "better" one is used alongside with
tAPI (http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/tapi-general-discussion-progress-info.110832/), however the SourceMod (the one I use) is also playable, though you'll need the Game Launcher for Terraria in order to play that version.

Also, Vertex is love.

Today I decided to use my Temple Keys and Key Molds to get the biome weapons. I realized that all of my worlds, except 2, were Crimson. Those 2 worlds are old and do not have an Biome chests. I created a new world to get a Corruption Chest. On the way to the dungeon, I noticed a pyramid slightly protruding from the sand. I decided to enter, in the off chance their was a Flying Carpet. Flying Carpet secured.

Flying carpets ftw pre-hardmode.  I notice I've been getting more worlds with pyramids lately :P

Made beetle armor in Avalon and currently farming about for chlorophyte and other resources.  Trying to aim at getting the Ancient Armor set and collecting the essentials from the Moon events before activating Superhardmode via the Armageddon Slime.

I remember making around 26 worlds just to find the sandstorm in a bottle

I remember in one of my brother's worlds, there were two Crimson Chasm entrances merged together and in another chasm, it had more than 6 "fingers"

I stupidly sold one to someone here on the forum for like a plat or two. Now I'm looking for one again.

Wait sandstorm in a bottle is that rare? I thought I remember finding one fairly easily in the first 1.2 world that my friends and I played on

Finally got my fishron wings, 30 Duke Fishrons later

It's semi-rare considering

a. Pyramids are a "rare" encounter in world generation
b. That the pharaoh vanity can beat out the sandstorm from being in the chest, and that said
c. You're dependency revolves toward one chest. Or 2, but I don't think that happens with pyramid generation.

That being said, one can easily keep making worlds to farm for the sandstorm, somewhat killing the rare aspect of it when other players begin to follow suit.  I believe a larger world can also have multiple pyramids in desert area.

@Funnelcakes: Welcome to the best travel accessory in the game :3

I didn't know pyramids were rare, I always seem to get them on like 50% of my worlds
