Okay I'm pissed off. Trying to build these biomes, and I get a solar eclipse followed by a blood moon followed by a solar eclipse.

Well damn, at least you get solar eclipses. I always get one really late in the game after i get all my best gear.

Giant tortoises are my worst fear now.

its been awhile since i played. Kept getting wrecked because i didnt get adamantite armor. Finally got some though, still preparing for the destroyer fight. Am i the only one that doesnt get Cobolt and mithril armor and weapons? i try to just skip the lower tiers until Adamantite/Titanium.

Still havnt gotten a crimson world yet, which sucks because I want Golden Shower and just the Ichor debuff in general.

This is like my 5th run to hardmode, yet i still have issues with it. Bosses have gotten kinda easy though, except for Plantera.

iunno why, but i myself found the difficulty curve in the bosses curving dramatically as the game goes

eater of worlds and eye of cthulhu are piss-easy and very good ways to farm
brain of cthulhu, skeletron and wall of flesh are ok difficulty bosses
destroyer, twins and skeletron prime just loving SOAR right over and I have never beaten either of them or gotten to any of the bosses past them

You guys aren't grinding enough. To make your end game easier, you need to grind everything from bosses to dungeons, and just keep on upgrading your stuff as you go.

Also, vampire knives are loving great.

I don't see how you can grind early in to hard mode. Literally all you do is attain the ores and probably get better accessories.

The process of getting better armor is still hard considering all the stuff you have to not get murdered by in order to mine better ores and such.

Figure out strategies.

Flatten out a hallowed region, build a 4xlike8 structure with eye-level holes, and just shoot stuff as it approaches. Only wraiths will be able to touch you, but all dat loot will make it worth it.

Grinding isnt really all the fun unless you are specifically going for a rare drop.

To get wings you need to get souls of flight, which requires you to kill 2-4 wyverns.
Honestly, Hardmode isnt all that tough once you get the gear you need. Make a helevator before hardmode, get some spelunker potions, and then make sure you break as many alters as you can. Then you take the helevator down with the spelunker potion activated and look for cobalt, then mithril, then adamantite, making a pickaxe from each tier. Once you get to adamantite, you make the armor from that tier.

Enemies aren't too tough either if you get the Clockwork assault rifle. Make sure you have max health and mana, aim for corruption for cursed bullets or hallow for crystal bullets.

I already have all of the endgame gear. I already have every item you can possibly get from a solar eclipse. I don't want any more.

second of all since when did Crimson monsters make noise

I find the hardest part of hardmode is getting the gear to fight the bosses. Not only do you need to get the highest tier armor, you need to start to farm to get enemies that make it easier. Destroyer is first, so that means you would need Nimbus rod for massive damage and Golden Shower for more piercing damage, then it would be smart to make an arena like thing so that you dont get trapped by him.

With him defeated, you can start on Hallow armor and make the Megashark. The Steampunker should have spawned so you can make high velocity bullets. Once you get a full hallow set by killing destroyer a few more times, you take on the twins, which i find to be the hardest.

After them, there isnt much for you to do besides kill Skeletron prime next.

Thats usually how I handle the boss fights, but it took me longer than expected because Nimbus clouds just weren't dropping the rod, which was kinda irritating.

Honestly the only hard boss is Plantera, and that's if you don't build an arena. If you do it's only slightly harder then the twins
