Honestly the only hard boss is Plantera, and that's if you don't build an arena. If you do it's only slightly harder then the twins

Plantera is easy as forget for me.
But on my new world it's going to be hard, because my loving jungle has no big areas.

It depends on what items you have. If you have a death sickle, you can kill Plantera taking 0 damage without an arena.

Once you enter end game the Plantera fight just becomes you standing inside it and dealing damage while your health barely goes down.

Even with all the stuff I've got though, the Frost Moon and Halloween events are the hardest stuff in the world. Some of those mother forgeters do so much damage...

Also, the giant knights in the dungeons can suck a richard too. They're alright to kill but they're the only thing that deals any significant damage down there.

I've finished the Pumpkin Moon, but the Frost Moon is annoying. I usually last pretty long and only die a couple of times, but I don't get far enough for the drop chances to be any good. I got the North Pole weapon, but it sucks. I want the razorpine.

I find they're usually survivable but I can't deal enough damage to progress all the way through them.

Probably the Terra blade or the Flairon. I set up an arena with traps in order to kill the small monsters while I focus on the bosses.

That's probably where I'm going wrong. I spend a lot of ammo and time killing the trees later on that I should be spending on the giant jack o lantern.

I'm doing a run with only magic weapons and have already gotten to hardmode
No hm bosses fought yet
The hardest part has been the beginning so far, getting a staff in a world with mostly stuff ore (but thank god for platinum) makes it a bit hard on you when you think you can make an amethyst staff but have tin instead of copper, and then it takes 10 loving years to find diamond so you can head onto the dungeon with relative ease, all the loot i got there i sold except for some keys, the water staff and water bolt.
Then i made a walkway in the right side of hell and killed WOF before i even got trough half of it, luckily WOF dropped a laser rifle, so i was pretty much set.
Have a wicked sick floating castle which is impervious to pretty much all blood moon attacks (and has a little lava pit to still get some of that hot slash)
Today i went into the jungle and got killed a forgetton of times looking for the wind anklet, i did find it in the end and upgraded my hermes
Went into my hallow infested hellevator and got some crystals for storm, mined cobalt for a pick, mined mythril with said pick, make pick and anvil with mythril, and i'll get some titanium before i face the twins.
Last thing i did was grind a spider nest for the poison staff, spider staff and spider queen staff.
I think i'll get some pics of my wicked sick castle and neato looking magic boy and his inventory tommorow.
I really wasn't planning on making my post this long, but it's just loving fun

I already have all of the endgame gear. I already have every item you can possibly get from a solar eclipse. I don't want any more.

I remember when i had a blood moon followed by a solar eclipse with a rainstorm
Only one Nimbus Rod dropped and only one broken hero sword dropped
Still helped out a bit, special thanks to my trap loaded fort for that

Luckly all the HM bosses are pretty easy with magic, next to ranged. Full melee might be one of the harder ones because most of the fast attacking melee weapons are either too weak, have too short of a range, or are in the Crimson/Corruption chests. Destroyer would still be the easiest, but still more difficult than with magic. Skeletron prime would be a bitch to fight because of his agility and same with the twins. The only positive i see with melee builds is the armor. All you can hope for in a melee build is fora good solar eclipse that gives 3 Broken hero swords and the moon stone.

Nimbus rod is op, once you get that Destroyer becomes cake.
I also ended up making a new world to get Ichor, and found out the world had all the new hardmode ores. Was debating on staying there to get Titanium.

That's why i'm taking twins first, crystal storm, golden shower, my super excellent dodging skills and arena will knock their richards into the dirt
Then i'll make a magical harp make a small box arena simillair to the one for the phasesabre tactic, and forget him hard
Then i'll reuse my twin arena for skeletron
I'll plan on the other bosses once i'm done with these three
My last character got loving lucky with his temple, golem spawn spawned on some spikes.
So i could make a farm on the surface with some of the traps from there, and got all the loot with about 15 of those power cores
That character also beat the dungeon gaurdian using a megashark with crystal and frost armor, definetely the best strategy for taking that thing down.
Also head to the ocean with some waterwalk potions for that.

Plantera is just run and gun for me with crystal bullets. Gollem is easier, take out at least 1 fist and debuff occasionally. haven't fought fishron yet though

I used 10 truffle worms on that assclown and i either died before he did or got loving eviscerated by sharknado's
After that i didn't really want to farm truffle worms anymore so i played the bad bitch card and cheated 999 in
It still took a while to not forget up and die
And a forgetton of reforging
