So I plantera and golem using chlorophyte shotbow and holy arrows very easily in expert. Now I'm stuck on lunatic cultist, and since he is waaaay too small of a target for the holy arrows stars, and too fast, I don't know what weapon to use. I am thinking about using megashark, or should i get something from fishron and then fight cultist? Btw, if it helps, I have a friend with spectre armor with hood, and we are thinking about using leaf blower with the hood. Are there any other better weapons that pair with hood well?

Leaf blower is eh. Pine needler is a really good magic weapon though. also fishron wings (if you don't have any yet)
the typhoon tome is also pretty good at taking down the celestial towers and the Cultist, Homing is great
Pine needler has a really high DPS, great for healing with hood

If you battle him right under the dungeon entrance (where he spawns) his lightning attack will never hit you

do the pumpkin moon and the frost moon first for epic loot, then use chlorophyte bullets because they home in on targets

If you're using ranger class then yeah, chloro bullets really helpful with cultist.

I recommend tac shotgun or something rapidfire like uzi, chaingun or megashark

having a couple of minions could help too

Otherwise, a piranha gun could be used for the whole fight if you keep kiting him lol

Any tips for fighting martians? Especially saucer?

hide in an undergroudn room with a 1 block wide opening at the top (with a wooden plank) and shoot a homing weapon out of it so that as long as you dont sit directly under the hole his death lazer cant hit you, and thus nothing can hit you.

turns out plantera on expert mode is very easy with a large arena
only used 130 holy arrows on it with a stormbow

probably better strategy would be to use crystal bullets for the first phase and holy arrows for the second phase

edit: holy forget, the hardest part of killing plantera keeping it there
it keeps despawning on me while it's chasing me back to the arena, and i'm staying close to it
it's such BS that it'll just despawn while it's shooting at you following right behind you

not sure why it's literally impossible to fight like that

I think it's a bug where plantera just keeps going in one direction after spawning

hmm, well, plantera isn't so difficult if it follows
stormbow just is so easy to kill bosses with

also, went to the dungeon right after and got a grenade launcher + sniper rifle, so i'm pretty happy on weapons for a while

and the spore sac is surprisingly nice to have

behold the most horrific biome of the century

you dislike the obsidian and marble biomes?
medusa's are kind of fun to kill, but I prefer the granite elementals for some reason
+ it's nice that they drop things to build with

granite and marble biomes make horrific combos because of their enemies. i like both, their enemies are a thorn in the side, especially medusas. thats my opinion though. i had to be extra precautious just to explore it because of the medusas and hoplites crawling around in there

I never found the enemies in the marble biome threatening. The granite monsters bothered me because of all their health and how they could turn invincible for a period of time
