I'm building some cool stuff now before I hit hardmode. Despite it being easier to make things during hardmode due to the wings and such, I really don't want my crimson to spread a lot. When I get into hardmode, I'm just going to try and breeze through without building anything until I defeat Plantera so the crimson spread slows down by a lot and I can resume to building.

The living wood tree you see in the minimap will be turned into a hellevator. A meteorite just landed on my (expert) world, so I'm gonna go and mine that up to make some armor and a space gun to kill the Eye of Cthulhu. I'll post more on my projects when I make more progress on them.

Didn't need to, fight was ridiculously easy after I got a shiny red balloon and that meteor armor/space gun. Fought him 4 times that night and now I have a warding Shield of Cthulhu Shield and a bunch of Crimtane.

I dont want to get hyped for otherworld because i got hyped for starbound and it turned out to be one of my biggest disappointments for games i was excited for.

Pretty much what Yosher said, not saying you should buy it immediately when it comes out, just that the chances are much higher it will actually be good.


I actually managed to kill Plantera (With the help of a Death Sickle like Landmineman suggested) on my main character, but I don't know where to go after that. I richarded around in a martian madness event and got some nifty neato supremo stuff, but even then should I kill Duke Pigron Fishron, go straight for the Lunatic Cultist, the Pumpkin/Frost Moon stuff? So many choices.
