don't get hit bro, you die in the game you die in real life. there are a multiple amount of strategies that can help you defeat moon lord, either that or the good run and shoot tatic also works.
i have a strategy that i used in all my expert mode runs that i want to share:
- 1. start out and quickly build a house, don't waste time doing this
- 2. get minimal supplies, a wooden sword, wooden bow, wooden armor, and any shurikens or throwing knives you find in a pot or chest will work well. you will need many bombs.
- 3. travel to the crimson or corruption, and try to get underground to destroy 3 hearts or orbs, and immediately teleport away. this will give you more items and the chance for a meteor to spawn. it might be a pain to get down to the crimson or corruption but trust me its worth it.
- 4. wait until a meteor strikes your world. while waiting, now is a good time to stock up on more supplies and expand your settlement. build houses for your NPCs so you'll be able to purchase bombs from the demolitionist and ammo/guns from the arms dealer. heart crystals and accessories also help.
- 5. collect meteor drops and craft meteor armor, a space gun, and whatever else you want.
now the first few bosses of the game should be a breeze to defeat. king slime, queen bee, eye of cthulhu, eater of worlds/brain of cthulhu, and possibly skeletron will be way easier to get by.
