So erm... How do I work this confounded money laundering?

I have a GTX 460 768MB, if you guys want.  I have a laptop with an Intel 915 GMS but that is absolutely weak.  What can I do?
nothing.

mining with an nvidia card is useless.

nothing.

Well why the hell so?

Nvidia's are generally more reliable in drivers and are generally higher quality.  What the forget.

I have a Core i7-930, though.

57.8 Mhash/s. You could be a possible candidate. Valen, you should update the topic on how to mine.

Guys, buy bitcoins now and watch the investment go up.

I'm convincing my mom to let me purchase 10, so when it peaks back to 30 I'll get a 100$ profit.

Get on skype. Slush's and Deepbit are both down D:.

Not all, some are actually pretty useful.

Man this program will probably rape your gpu to a regular 1 year or less life if you keep it running from a new vid card.
That's with proper cooling. The average life of a gpu is like 5 years, so if you guys wanna burn out your gpu that fast be my guest.
And if you don't have proper cooling it can really forget you within a week.
I wouldn't recommend this at all.

In that case I'll have to wait till I can afford to get a new video card, and most likely liquid cooling for it too.

Not really, it's pretty obvious if you know anything about computers which you clearly don't good sir.
It would make profit, but you'd have to buy a new 250$ gpu every year or so.

Best card only outputs 150 mhash/s

it's not a worthy investment to buy one for bitcoin mining.

assuming you don't even have a cooler

Dude, this is not like a new hobby or so. We're doing this for like every other day or so.

Can anyone tell me how these numbers work.

Like what is a mhash?

I bet Otis is buying like four more quad-GPU setups so he can become a druglord millionaire.

With proper cooling your vid card runs at 100% capacity which would burn it out within a year like I said in my first post here.
Without cooling it dies in like a week.

Nvidia chips have fewer processors than AMD chips.

~maybe

Post your graphics card here, I can help you with this.

Because NViDIAs don't work as well in OpenCL.

And mining with a CPU is worse
