The white ring that surrounds the full-power blast is the least laggy emitter of them all; if you were to lag, it would be from the bits emitter (same emitter as the fully-charged glow from the weapon's tip)
Uxie, my computer is literally brand new, and is built for gaming. But Ive also used this gun on an ancient desktop computer, with an 11-year old graphics card that is actually intended for a laptop, and Ive shot that same build in the screenshot without crashing the server.
This gun isnt very laggy at all. It's just powerful. The KzR has more fake kill power than this gun, it just doesnt have the radius.
The projectile scale is controlled by the script, so whether you set your scale to .1 or to 5, the projectile will be the same size as if you fired it as a normal-scale player.
I dont see this being failed, because it doesnt have any of the characteristics that got the Mini-Nuke or Ion Cannon failed. Neither of those weapons were failed for the destruction they caused; they had legitimate issues, such as overwriting default datablocks, or missing textures, or unecessary usage of datablocks; anyways, you get my point.
This gun is fine. The Hi-Blast actually has the larger risk of causing lag than the SLC, so I dont see why you're attacking it more. If you dont think your computer can handle it, or if you dont want the guns, or whatever, just dont download it.
