Press R to turn on RCS
Make sure you have RCS fuel and RCS thrusters.
Make sure you have SAS enabled and Advanced SAS and fins help so much.

From the first picture, it looks like your velocity is enough to send you into the Sun's orbit. It would be easier to tell what was going on from a top-down perspective.

I tried to Orbit the moon, and got me stuffty little satellite in an odd orbit of the sun. It's circular, but angled kinda the same Minmus is.

They already have a deal with Valve, and at some point it will be released on Steam.
A bunch of cigarettes tried to put it on greenlight, and they've all been banned from KSP Forums and their files have been removed from Greenlight.
