the ones visible in the screenshots are .... :
1. procedural fairings ( blue lines, forgot to put back on the fairings which are greyed out there )
2. kerbpaint ( lets you paint the three layers on most stock parts, how i got the striping )
3. Mechjeb ( because i suck )
4. NAVsat ( for planetary mapping to help plan my expeditions and for science scanning of biomes )
5. Kethane ( for farts )
6. Chatterer ( the little mic in the top left, creates random atmospheric beepy bits, actually really awesome for what it sounds like )
7. L-tech science pack ( for more varied options for science because holy forget my modded science tree is hard with stock parts )

i highly recommend all those mods, except maybe for L-tech because the models are still WIP and it just uses some finagled stock parts. it still works great though.

i do, regularly. the problem is, i create such spectacular creations, my fps drops to around 3 and any manual attempts always end in failure because of how laggy it is. the "i suck" bit was a prod at people saying anyone who uses MJ is bad, i only use it when necessary.

how the forget am i supposed to properly land another piece of my moon base onto my already landed moon base

jesus forget this game is giving me an aneurysm

is there a mod that will autopilot the entire landing/docking portion for planet bases or whatever the forget please i beg you

mechjeb's landing guidance, as it stands, relies on using the remaining thrusters you have and putting them at full burn at EXACTLY the right time so you don't explode. sometimes it doesn't do this right. i recommend quicksaving at a good time, then using the "Land at target" function and see if it works for you, it'll be under the Landing Guidance section of the MJ tab.

....ok, so does the piece of have landing jets? or are you just tossing it at the mun? because that's bad. the advice still applies.

are landing jets a specific item?  i do have three small engines and monopropellant thrusters to help guide it down slowly, i'm not just tossing it at the mun lol

landing jets being the generic term for not cratering yourself by using thrusters. but yeah, hitting the Landing guidance may/may not work out for you, hit f5 when you're in a stable orbit and try it, f6 to retry. it sometimes screws up the actual land elevation.

Haha putting people's stuff in an orbit around the sun in kmp with a kinetic ram is the best thing ever.
