I made a working airplane.

None of that hold F for SAS or something that just looks like a plane

It works extremely well and I can fly it around with ease ^.^



and now it just ran out of fuel and I glided into the ocean before detaching and deploying my chute

There are solid rocket bosters on a triple attach thing on the bottom of the aircraft. They launch it in the air a bit, then jettison, then you can fly around.

After you run out of fuel, you can detach the whole thing and just have the pod and the chute.

If you looked hard you'd realize >.<

Well, I haven't played this game on a good computer, so all I can see is silhouettes. I don't know what any of the parts look like XP

alright I got rid of all the rockets underneath that shoot it in the air first as they were unneeded I guess.

HOW TO FLY-

Thrust at full blast
Take off and use SAS
Go forward until you level out
Use Q and E to roll, W and S to pitch up and down, and A and D are basically like rudders lol

*Experiment with SAS ON and OFF while in flight, I personally leave it off and it flies just fine. This plane SHOULD keep upright and not fly all over the place. If it is for you, don't complain to me. You're doing something wrong as I've had a success to fail ratio of 10:1.

if you cannot fly it, you're doing something wrong. I can fly it JUST perfectly. Just experiment with it a bit. It's extremely basic since I took off everything else I had besides the craft itself.

I don't like the fact that the second you touch the ground at any speed the ship explodes. Built a nice hover craft type thing and tried to land it on a feild. Approached the ground at around 0.5-1 m/s. Didn't end too well.

Try to use very slow and precise movements when launching, straighten out, and make sure thrust is not at max when you're about to straighten out. Also, toggle SAS on and off and see what works better for you and your situation (T key).

Shinji messaged me on steam and said that it took him a bit but he got the hang of piloting it, so I guess just keep trying :P
