Has anyone achieved a stable orbit yet?

shores of hazeron is much better than this for one reason

MULTIPLAYER.
This game has no intense lag all the time and has graphics that you can look at without pain.

I just got 200 km into the air while still thrusting using a simple rocket. I'm now drifting at around 2 kmps at 450 kilometers above.
I also just realized that the continent you launch off of looks like africa.

Oh god a black hole just swallowed the planet.

New distance for me, using completely default rockets.

I couldn't play Shores, I think if they integrated this and some better graphics I'd be all over it.

My rocket's swaying a lot more than I'd like, even with an S.A.S module on each engine. :o

Oh...
My...
God...

JEBEDIAH WANTED SPEEEEEEEED

heh. heh. heh, i found it funny :(

They updated the website.

I've found that if you attach an SAS module directly to the bottom of the capsule(with no decoupler), on stage 0 when your capsule's hurtling back to earth and the parachute is deployed, so long as the nose is pointed up the SAS module should keep it that way and take the damage from the fall, exploding and, nine out of ten times, leaving your capsule to plop safely onto the ground intact.

when the ship falls at 100m/s

everyone is happy

I found that too, but when I made it remove as part of my last stage, and it was just my parachute and my capsule, the capsule always survives.

Hi again!
What a weekend that was! We never expected this amount of demand in such a short time!
The download count over the 2 weeks since the first release was about 15 times as much as the most optimistic estimation we had, for a month.
So, as it turned out, our puny server died, a lot, because of that.
But we’ve scrambled, and the site is back online now, in it’s full state.
For some (like me), it might take a while for your DNS server to be aware of the change. So if you don’t see the links to the wiki and the forums, that means your DNS is still directing you to the temporary host we set up. It shouldn’t take more than 24 hours for it to update though.
I want to send out a massive THANK YOU to everyone who downloaded, shared their creations, created mods, and talked about the game. This has surpassed our wildest expectations!
Stay tuned for the 0.8.1 release! It’ll include not only the symmetry feature seen in the video I put up on Saturday, but a few more things that should make the game a lot more fun to play!
Again, Thank you all very much!
Cheers
