I don't use MechJeb. :o
I can rendezvous with orbiting rockets fine without it. c:

Vanilla.
Modified my rover, made a spaceplane, both landed marvelously.
The rover even traveled over 22km over the Mun's surface and met up with my crash-landed pod.

Space plane smooth landing /coolshades

Modified rover parked against the debris to keep it from rolling down hill.

22km is ALOT further when you're on a little rover xD ASAS helped a TON.

When I try going to kerbalspaceprogram.com I get 501 Error method not implemented. Same thing on the forums there too.

both work fine for me

both work fine for me
I know, I'm the only one I know with this problem. I contacted their support and then it works for like 2 seconds and goes back to the error.

Try google cache, or another browser.

Remember the little argument over what the proper grammar was to that famous Lance Armstrong quote? And how I said it's time to ask the developers?
They responded:

It should be "One small step for a Kerbal, one giant leap for
Kerbal-Kind." Also note that the planet is called Kerbin, not Kerban.

Cheers!

Bump for failure.
I suck at making space planes and shuttles.

I tried making a mun space plane before:

But this happened:

Someone post some working 8+ stage ships
Over 4 stages and it starts to get too heavy to launch. I've been trying to experiment with some ships that do have many stages that I can use to land on the Mun but... No avail.

=o a space plane landing on the mun?
That would be a true accomplishment.

It has been done by some people, suprisingly.
You just need to use a lot of RCS since wings don't work in space.

I think my biggest accomplishment was landing a rover on the mun, and then having the rover take back of and return to Kerbin.

Should I buy this now or is there an update I should just wait for?

I tried making a new mun spaceplane.

EVEN A BRICK HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF GOING TO THE MUN THAN THIS stuff

I managed to get into space but then it started having a spasm and I missed the Mun by many, many miles.
It's just orbiting the sun as space junk now.
