I know you're aware of the usage of what you said (around here), so it may just you becoming desensitized to the context, but 99% of the time the first quote's style is only used for condescension and derision, so there were better ways to phrase it. Like "I like and prefer this navball here: ".

I've never seen it used as >year >not doing blah a serious insult. It'd be really silly to think I imply that literally everyone should use it, or they are an idiot. Obviously it expresses opinion, one you wish other people would share, but not condenscension because others don't have it yet. Spaceport was just a terrible edit of a stock pbb template that Squad was using temporarily so modders had a central resource. They paired with Curse because they're not idiots and realize that it's a complete and total waste to devote even more resources to a new site when a great one already exists, and has exactly the support they need. The only people I've ever seen complain about Curse do so vaguely and with contempt.
