1.0 is in QA testing but it won't be here for a while because there's a metric stuff ton to test
i estimate another month till experimentals
Thank god, I haven't finished the science career mode yet.

I have promised myself to try out the fairing mods so my rockets look less dumb.

i always had trouble getting to the moon orbit, i would always run out of fuel.

i should pick this game up again but i dont have the motivation

the time warp to specific points in orbit is going to be amazingly useful

no longer will you have to stare at a screen for half an hour waiting for a long orbit to reach its destination

Well, the ESA is about to test one of their re-entry vehicles, NASA's got a probe hurtling toward Ceres taking pictures of it that are better quality than ever before in human history, and New Horizons is on its way to Pluto where it'll take pictures that'll blow our loving socks off.

Then Mars and it's two functioning rovers is being thoroughly molested by our Earthen technology, maybe one day paving the way for a manned mission or a semi-permanent base, thereby propelling the human race into the new category of space-faring.

What I'm trying to say is, go watch a tut by Scott Manley and get to the Mun ya sissy. :)

mun is supre easy you just gotta know how orbits work and have a decent rocket design

Don't patronize the man, tell him about the loving school bus sized telescope in the sky that I just read is apparently projected to last until 2020 where it will be succeeded by another loving great telescope, then tell him to watch a tutorial on youtube by an australian man and get to the Mun.

Edit: then tell him to watch this:

but KAC is a mod

so? it's easy enough to install mods
Tell me about it, I just threw like 12 mods into my game in a few minutes. KSP ain't no Minecraft, that's for sure.

but KAC is a mod
you literally just drop the folder from the mod into GameData and it's installed. KSP has one of the easiest mod installation processes of basically any game, actually.

ya it's easy but it's better if it's vanilla cus then u don even hav 2 woruy about mods GET IT BOS?!!? jeezz....

my point being is that mods update on separate timescales relative to the core game... meaning they can be abandoned and lose compatibility. plus it's inconvenient to download and install things, no matter how easy it is to install.

KAC is for the current version. After 1.0 is released it won't matter if it's updated or not because the mod will lose it's function, which is to warp to a specific node in your orbit. It's a one time use thing.
