turns out they don't work with game copies purchased a while ago (what a rip) so you have to purchase it again for it to work

For steam, no it never worked, always got invalid CD key, I had the box, but eventually that got CD key error, oh hey that's a good idea, try the box one.

Edit: wait when was MoH released last year? because bf3 is being released October and I still haven't gotten any word on the beta I was promised.
