Ok, I played alpha and it's honestly so much better this way.  It's almost like in free roam games how the map pre-loads and you don't have to sit through loading screens when traveling.  It gives you time to do other stuff on the way to the server, either way in alpha the servers loaded really fast and it shouldn't be much of a problem for anyone.

And in the alpha 3D spotting was still on :/

I know I got mad because I thought like you would research it. First thing BC2 and BF2 had helicopters you can also see helicopters in Fault line videos and the new Caspian Border trailer. It's also been confirmed like everywhere, we also have a list that was posted here confirming all the vehicles and weapons and there were helicopters in that list. So, yeah it's all really obviously and I got mad cause you asked that :(

Maybe people will be able to choose to spawn inside of jets inside their base? I don't know.
