I have many memories from bf1942. I remember always going engineer and sniping guys and kamikazing tanks with all 4 bombs, Vietnam was a different animal. Tons of enemies spraying your spawn, tracers coming out of bushes, those bots fought hard to the end.

'Tis a shame they canceled the PC port.

Maybe if you were stuff at the game. The most important special equipment (grenades, defibrillator, IPS, claymores/detpacks, squad leader beacon, etc) were the first unlocks in their trees, and the default weapons were fine. In fact, the unlock sniper rifle was crap compared to the default.
