Anyway, I noticed if you have a bunch of companions with you and you die at a notable place they will be there if you go back as another adventurer. A lord sent me to kill the roc that ambushed me and when I got there all my old companions were milling about the nest fighting the roc.

I recruited them again and got most of them killed fighting a massive goblin bandit group and a fireball throwing titan at the same time.

Why do you get all of the cool quests? This sucks. It always happens to me. I get to kill bandits and trolls and stuff. Nothing special.

Kill a bunch of stuff then go to a lord/lady (fortresses) and ask for a quest. They give one at a time, but they give only legendary night creatures and megabeasts/semi-megabeasts.

I know. They send me to kill bandits. I've killed night creatures before, but nothing real difficult. Like I said, I ran out of quests on one continent. I know what I'm doing, my worlds just seem to be lame.
