Ten minutes later, an Isallan Warfleet jumps into orbit with weapons armed.

They scan the station for life, and open a communications channel with all governmental organizations.

"This is commander Stromm of the Isallan Warfleet Splinter Kryisia. Why have you attacked our trade station?"

This is The People of Wizzeh. We request a private channel immediately.

"It was not Raest. We actually had no idea that the attack happened until now. Thank you for notifying us."

No, seriously, it was not us.

We don't even have that sort of tech anymore.

Our army hardly has guns, let alone spaceships.

This is Tharsha's head of state and the Commissariat of Foreign and Domestic Affairs, The People of Wizzeh shall be representing us.

The three Iodine Pleaset frigates launch into the atmosphere, open up comms with the Isallan fleet, and hold a private discussion.

"I find that difficult to believe. Our last communication with that station was that you had been writing a treaty that effectively blocked us from your airspace and banned trade. From where I'm standing it looks pretty conclusive."

We were receiving intense pressure to cut down on contact from nations who did not have the benefit of effective diplomats.

"It was not any of us. The plasma burn on the trade station were not us. We do not posses that kind of technology. The treaty we made also prohibits your foe from giving us weapons. It was not us."

All NRSF ships in orbit are set to condition 1.

I seem to recall you proposing an explicitly anti-alien organization.

It still doesn't explain who destroyed the station. We pick up no Halian weapon sources, it must have been some sort of KEW.

"General's honor, it was not us. I would have voted nay in the whole argument if I had realized the consequences of what would happen to the human race."

"It was not a anti-alien organization. It was for the preservation the the human race! Last I recall us not proposing a treaty to limit alien trade!"

You don't seem to be thinking this through. Why would anyone armed with technology to take down your ships (which would have to be yours) attack your own ships? If it means anything I recieved reports of new bodies entering and leaving the system a few minutes ago.

You supported a proposal that effectively destroyed all alien data.

This might be unrelated, but NRSF Victory picked up dradis anomalies during the time of the attack.
