Mod is one hell of a drug.
An update on this: I installed the mods so carelessly my Skyrim died.

I guess you could call it Death by overdose.

I regret nothing.

Once you download it you can't uninstall it but you can disable it.  I think it's like 5GB so make sure you have enough hard drive space.

I don't like that the magic menu is on the wrong side in SkyUI, but the inventory menu is definitely better than default
the default menu doesn't even have sorting options
It sorts by category so it's good enough for me.

I recently reinstalled Skyrim so I started from scratch. I used to run +200.

*bsa, I'm not reuploading the image.

you must have like, twenty items total

According to the official wiki, 1.9 will have a new difficulty setting called Legendary.
It'll also let you level above 81.

Playing it feels like I just follow orders and don't get to choose the path I wish to take.

I barely get any chat options when speaking with the NPCs and the only real enjoyment I got out of it was exploring the land with cheat codes after I stopped following the missions, which only lasted me a short time.

Last Bethesda game I played was Fallout 3; I loved every minute of it, skyrim doesen't have nearly what I liked about fallout 3.

Eksi sent me this link shortly after speaking with him about my dilemma; even he was aware of this.

Sorry for making it seem like I was just not playing it; I assure you I gave it a chance, learned some shouts, played a few missions, killed 2 dragons.

This doesn't make any sense to me.
What orders do you follow? You can go around doing anything you want and you don't have to follow any sort of regimen, as soon as you are out of helgen you are free to run amuck forever without any regard to the quests, if that's what you want.
Your combat, skills, adventures are all up to you.
And of course you aren't going to have fun if you use cheats, especially on your first play through.

you know, you don't have to do the main quests? you can do whatever you want. after you finish Unbound you can walk west all the way to markarth and do the quest to become their thane if that's what you want to do

and did you really compare a fallout game to a TES game? they're both RPGs, but that's pretty much the end of their similarities

I remember sending this to Eksi a while back because i wanted to inspire Eksi to play Morrowind, like the video inspired me. The main problem with Skyrim i have is that you're not only the chosen one - you are a loving demigod. You learn what other people worked on for decades in few seconds, you have the power of the voice with you and whatever you do, everyone in the world likes you expect the Jarls that you banish after the civil war. Like the video says, in Morrowind simple choices had huge consequences and changes to the world you played in. Skyrim lacks dialogue, the amount of choices you have, the "pressure" on reading books that would give you a few little secrets and giving a damn about NPC dialogue + quest descriptions. All you did was follow the white arrow. I can still enjoy Skyrim despite casual gaming kitties being thrown in it.
