Can someone please recommend a computer build from this website?
http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-llano/
Ive got £1000 and I can go a little over if needed, id like a very good gaming computer please.
Also if you do tell me which parts to get could you please explain why and what the difference
between that part and the other parts available is?

I'm going to install windows 7 either today or tomorrow, can you give me tips on what to do before installing?

Please don't say back up your files because I'm doing an in-place install, so my files will be kept.

Back up your important files anyways because if you're installing an OS (even an upgrade) you should. What happens if the file system becomes corrupt and you have to reformat the partition? What if you can't boot after the install?
I know Windows 7 has tools to fix these things, but I've experienced too much data loss under the OS to consider them useful.
lightweight.
if you mean the windows folder alone using 36GB after updates then sure it's lightweight
Also tried Linux, forget my life.
What happened, and what distro did you use?

Thats the thing, I don't need them anyway.

Puppy Linux

Puppy Linux
Personally, I hate Puppy Linux. It looks a bit too much like Windows. I understand if you're aiming for something like that, but I'd honestly recommend Fedora 17 with KDE

The $300 build needs to be redone because a lot of stuff is discontinued.

Pretty much all the builds have discontinued items xD

what would be a good gpu to pair up with the intel core i7 3930k?

I'm leaning towards getting an i3 3225, as I'd like to get a low-end GPU to accomodate it. One of the main reasons I'd like to is so that I can finally run BL somewhat decently and finally see the S&S. How would the 3225 and a Sapphire Radeon 6670 do me? Totally didn't ask an extremely similar question on the last page.

If you have the money, get a 7750 or a 7770. It's better to get more up to date sort of card if you can.

Anything high end really. A GTX 680, SLI 680s, or a GTX 690. If that's to much than a FTW edition of a GTX 670 would do well.

Alright, I'm taking it up on myself to update all the builds on the OP.

$300
This is an extremely basic computer, it can be upgraded with better video cards from the $400 and $500 builds.

This extremely high end build can boast a whole lot, use the SSD to boot from and enjoy pretty much everything being extraordinarily fast.

You should probably switch out the $300's case with a smaller case.  Seems like a waste to have a micro atx mobo in a full size case.

I meant to use a full ATX board. One minute.

All the ones I used to pick have gone out of supply...
