Quick question about programs ON a computer.
Let's say you make a torrent with all of the files for a program you installed onto your computer. Like for example Paint.NET. It comes with an installer and all of that stuff. If you directly transferred the whole Paint.NET directory from computer to computer using a torrenting program, would the program work?
edit: Before someone decides to be stupid, torrents are used IN piracy, but not all torrents are pirate's work.
Some.
Some programs create registry keys, these programs won't work when you do this.
Tried to unlock my 4th core but mine was one that is fully defective :C
Bad luck :(
I bought a triple core for one of my old systems, but unfortunately it's fully defective as well D:
Alright, I got 2 questions.
1. What is overclocking and what does it do?
2. Can you forget up your pc if you try to overclock stuff wrong?
Overclocking increases the clock speed of components. Commonly overclocked things are the CPU (where it affects the speed, say if you buy a CPU that is 3GHz stock, you can overclock to 3.4GHz or something), RAM (same scenario, turn DDR3-1333 into DDR3-1600 or similar) or GPU (clock speed, shader speed, vram speed etc. This is probably the easiest component to overclock)
Yes you can. CPU overclocking especially is risky. You've gotta watch temperatures, adjust voltages to your CPU (not too much, not too little), adjust multipliers and bus speed or even FSB speed.
I'd suggest really researching it if you are interested.
