Given the floods in Thailand, hard drives are currently about double price, and that is extremely cheap for a 7200RPM 500GB HDD.
Hows this one :ohttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185
That's great, but can you afford the $55 more?
OK, you can both use this parts list:Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171054Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157279CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220484HDD: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HUA721050KLA330-NDW&cat=HDDGPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102929ODD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204LCD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009266Total: ~$990 with rebates.Don't forget though that neither of your parts lists included an OS, so you must remember to sort one out. And, Kira, yours had that mouse. You could add that, but if it's over your budget I can change it for you.
with this set upcould I still buy this psu instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017and everything would be compatible?because I kind of already bought it...
Really good choice, better than the Cooler Master.Cooler Master PSUs have been reported to blow up without even doing anything. Like blowing up as if it were a low-quality PSU. OCZ is one of the best to me.
Should I fix up a laptop that my dad brought home and sell it it's a Pentium M @ 2.0GHZ with 1GB of DDR2 (533MHz)?If I put 2GB of RAM in, and a 160GB HDD, I can sell it for $250, spending a total of $84.95, earning me a profit of ~$165.Do I do it?
okay since somebody apparently gets mad anytime you don't ask in this topicsomething is wrong with my sound card or something maybeit plays sound just fine but if I plug in some headphones it acts like I didn't do stuff and just plays it through the speakers still
Where do you plug the headphones into (what port)?
wait nevermind, the sound's just not working at all now
