Just saw a video of what full sleep paralysis is really like. I'm scared to go to sleep now...

same here.. lol

But I'm confused about something- in order to Lucid dream with those instructions on that picture that was posted, do you have to go through sleep parlysis?

I imagine that there would be a way to go into the dream without opening your eyes in SP; that would make it significantly less scary

-snip-

Im trying to use this guide but i dont feel the "Weight on your chest" feeling. When I do it either goes away fast or i dont see things when i open my eyes

when it doesn't happen, you might have done something improperly without noticing
when it does happen, don't open your eyes yet. just keep sitting there for a while.

When i sit there for a while it seems to go way.

No it's just one way, but I think it's the fastest and most controlled way. But the things you may experience on the way are pretty forgeted up.

I had a lucid dream once. It was the worst thing I have ever experienced.

Reasons why is was bad:
  • I looked in the mirror
  • My closet is opposite my mirror, and I saw scary stuff in it
  • I saw my 60-some ought neighbors loving
  • I saw terrible creatures running through the streets
  • I loving saw slenderman ._.

I woke up in a state of complete shock and I was afraid to move.

Still cant lucid dream. Any other ideas :C

Cheese lots and lots of cheese.

When you're in a dream and want to go somewhere else just dive through the floor and keep falling until you reach wherever you want to go. It works for me and if you know where you want to go beforehand it might be right under you when you dive through.

Any tips on WILD stuff? Eventually I get to the mental imagery, but it takes about forty minutes to get there. Even there, I can't get into SP.

Also: are reality checks and dream journals ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to lucid dream? I've asked this everywhere and I have gotten "well it depends" most every time.

What is this, some alternative reality? I've never lucid dreamed because I have ADHD and can't sit still ;_;
