Slate uses an interior.


No currently existing map will function.

I know. All maps need to updated to replace the interior instance with the new coded plane. Visually there is no change. They are still Slate edits.

I guess I have no choice but to comply. 
I still wish that we could keep interiors.  I hate this particular change because all my best builds are on terrain and bedroom. 
In other words,

RIP my best builds, Blockland, any positive reputation Kopmressor had here.

Not sure if this is true for everyone, but after 20k bricks, my saves start loosing bricks. I'm unable to use any dedicated server I start at the moment. I can't make sufficient terrain and the actual builds I can and do make with only 20k bricks.

I'm all for advancing, but at this cost? Nyet. The cost outweighs the rewards. You say that the graphics need to advance, and I respectfully disagree. Minecraft is more well known/popular than blockland, and their graphics are poop. You don't see Minecraft advancing there, and  most people are fine with the graphics that exist right now. Yes, the maps turnedweird colors, but I really didn't and still don't care.

Bad politics to change this. If there were a way to lead some kind of revoloution here short of complaining, Kompressor, Blockland would be the middle east, and you would be the late Col. Khadafi. Let's grab our AK's and make it happen!

Minecraft doesn't use interiors or terrains.

Saving will only save anything that you have ghosted, if you haven't ghosted a part of your build, it won't save.

The amount of this has been said is annoying; removing interiors and terrains is not only for the eye candy of shadows and shaders, they clutter the code of blockland tremendously and by removing them updates will be easier to produce and may happen more often.

And the whole "revolution" thing... No. Just no. If you look on the countless topics floating around the forums about this "v21", most of them have the same poll "are you for or against "v21"", and if you look at the result to that... the majority are for.
