10 pages of irrelevance.

if trying to explain your own god makes you philosophical, then you really have no faith at all.

My question is how a being outside the universe can communicate to earth within a day. Yet alone transfer a signal through the universe's edge.

"What if there is no God...? What if he's just a... an existential manifestation of our collective cultural yearning for a sense of parental power over a chaotic universe?... Nah..."
-Homeless man in Destroy All Humans!

And then some people wrote books about it.
And people believed it.

Catholic but I don't go to church often. Also, it's sad seeing the amount of atheists on blockland.

Typical religious argument will then begin.

Agnostic. I love many of the ideas various religions promote but spite many others. Essentially I can't classify myself as atheist or theist because how the heck would I know? It just seems so impossible to me to choose a religion and accept it as fact.

I'm assuming that you basically believe that you are not an Atheist because you are not absolute on the issue. Basically, you dont want to say that there is no god.

This point is arguable, because truthfully Athiests do not say there is no god, but instead say that they do not believe in a god because of the lack of evidence provided for that theistic view. If there was absolute proof of gods existence, then most Atheists would of course become theists.

I know that it sounds like Agnosticism, but that itself is very hard to have a one size fits all definition of it.

Yeah, that's pretty much my viewpoint. I don't identify myself as atheist because when it's mentioned, people think of a person who denies religion and accepts science. Although I love science and love learning about how the universe was created, I don't believe religion is nonsense. I'd willingly believe in the most far-out religion if it was true. I just prefer to be called agnostic because it seems like a more moderate standpoint.

If I were talking to people in real life I would probably also identify myself as agnostic too. Atheism is one of the most hated minorities in America. I on the other hand do believe religion is nonsense and will lead to the end of mankind. But im not in the mood to start another 10 page argument that will leave both sides hateful.

Athiest

"There's enough religion in the world for us to hate eachother, yet not enough for us to love eachother"

As quite a few people already know- christian. Although I'm pretty different from most "Christians" you see everyday, Or in other words, I don't shove it down other peoples throats, but that doesn't mean I'm against evangelism, and I actually take my beliefs seriously so I don't look hypocritical like many so called "Christians" do.
