Playlist of my favorite story to have come out of this game. I find it amazing how the guy recording isn't the perfect survivor, but everyone around him always dies, but he is the one to survive. Still waiting for the next part; there are huge gaps between each video.

I watched that a while ago, very good series.

I don't like when people treat it as a deathmatch game, but there should definitely be a couple groups of bandits on each server.
Because in reality people will turn to that in apocalypse scenarios.

Thing is, melee would be pretty difficult considering the clunky AI.

That's handicapped because Arma II is a really really good game and doesn't need a mod to be fun.
Why would you buy a game for a mod that is still in Alpha phase ?

It's not like people don't buy games that are in alpha phases these days, ex. minecraft

Yeah buy a good game for 24 (or 10) bucks just to play a free mod that is in alpha phase.

No really it would make more sense to me if the mod wouldn't be in such a terrible condition like it is currently.
It seems more like a waste to me because Arma 2 CO is a nice game and is definitely worth the price.

I can't say the same about DayZ yet.

I've been looking for a really realistic survival game for months. If the replay value on this mod is high then I'd consider getting it.

Also, I assume it's still being developed? More features ect.? I feel like this could be worth my money. I play Arma II Free occasionally too so I know the basics of the game.

I find this incredibly difficult. I've been trying to find a weapon for days now, nothing. I need a weapon to kill zombies, but wherever there are weapons, there are zombies hanging around.

Ever since this stupid beta patch is forced on the six launcher, my game became unplayable. It freezes every 10 seconds for about 5, so I have 5 seconds of playing time before I start stuttering and ultimately freeze for a bit.

I'm fairly sure it has nothing to do with my hardware, I can still host fine and play Arma 2/OA, but on DayZ servers it gets like this.

I googled the problem and it appears lots of other people are having this problem with the beta patch as well.

Oh well, until they fix this stuff I'm literally unable to play
