It's well worth that amount even if you don't play Arma II. It's extremely fun and I can honestly say I played DayZ for longer that any other game in one session. 13 hours straight :I

Worked fine for me. Just recopy the code.

You need the beta patch, and certain launch options for it to work anyway. Plus the patch server is flooded so you won't be able to get it. Have fun.

Launch both Arma 2 and Arma 2: OA. (Get to the main menu in both)
Fixed that error for me. (Might require to be launched in administrator.)

This is quite literally a requirement to play DayZ and will fix your problem, I'm guaranteed.
