I just read the entire thread, and it's brilliant. Your description of the different building methods is very good and detailed, and the illustrations are very descriptive and helps compliment the text. One thing I'd like to see is cubescaping with GSF's terrain bricks, since they allow good-looking terrain without raising the brickcount too much.

This is nice.
Makes me want to work on a game mode that generates terrain as you walk. It would also unload parts of terrain you ahven't been in for a while, or your far away from.
This would prevent lag. It would also reload, saving the chunk. Alot like the Minecraft mod.

This is the final update.

As some of you may have already known I've been planning to quit Blockland for at least a year. This was intended to be my "final build" of sorts, to help overcome the new challenges the update has presented.

I have put up the rest of the text that has been completed, but there are still pictures that is missing for the final "Specific Formations" section, Paths. If anyone would like to contribute some, I and the community will appreciate it. Leave the pictures in a post here, or PM me with them, and I'll add them in.
Sorry if I missed citing your work, to anyone who contributed but didn't get recognition. Feel free to claim your work here, or send me a PM to ask me to put it in.

Many of you have requested a modular terrain section, but I had no time to learn how to use them, so I couldn't put in a section in fear of giving incorrect information and methods. If you'd like to contribute this section, or parts of it, once again, send me a PM or leave a post here.


Thanks for the experience here. I hope the forums and the game will improve over time; I don't plan to quit forever.

What would you guy's say about this little piece of land? it's so small, but that's because i'm going to plop a huge plot of land down behind it. i'd give you the map i'm working off of but that'll spoil it.
