Progress Report ODLX-127
Subject: EMS-7207 Lünåï

Construction:   100%
Assembly:   100%
Expected Completion Time (months):   [COMPLETED]

The EMS-7207 Lünåï is completed.

The Lünåï warps within the moon's distance outside of Hera, and it can be seen across the face of the planet.  Currently on-board are 9 million passengers loaded from multiple colonies.  The Lünåï will serve as the markerlight of Erinamese technology, Hera's power, and the New Heran Empire.

The UHC is officially renamed to the New Heran Empire, and the policies are changed saying that the NHE is now one country.  As countries were recognized in the past, all nations are now provinces within the NHE.  Provinces retain the right to use whatever policy they please, but must not violate any NHE regulations.

Because Emmeria has been doing a bunch of secret high tech stuff.
Can we launch and join that colony thingy?

A petition is sent out from the NHE to the Emmerian people.

The petition passes.  Emmeria is permitted to join aboard the EMS-7207 Lünåï.

Another space pirate sighting is noted at an Erinamese colony.  The pirates were approaching the colony when an ETOI disabled the craft.  A probe was then sent to retrieve it before it re-entered the atmosphere.

A transmission comes in from deep space...

This is Howard MacGunwald, President of the Teleri Confederation.

I am transmitting to you to inform you all of the dangers Telar has faced. By the time the transmission reaches you, I and all else Teleri will probably be destroyed. Only one month ago, the super soldier program resulted in a Dr. Moroe type scenario. The super soldiers have overthrown the Teleri government. Our other technologies were unable to stop this development. I am transmitting from the last human stronghold which our tacticians believe is doomed to fall within the year. Refugees will teleport as near to the closest human colony we are aware of that exists outside of the Fall-Zone within the week.

This is followed by the coordinates of where the refugees were teleported to, a file containing a very detailed catalog of Telar's history after leaving Hera, and a crap ton of personal accounts, diaries, messages, &c. of the Teleri people, dead and living.

Approximately 50 million Teleri refugees were teleported. The transmission took 2 years to reach Hera.

Do what you want with this, I'm just popping in for kicks, saw it was back.

Scouting craft scramble from human colonies.

New Manhattan immediately scrables its fleet to escort Erinaum's.

*Commander Jhiru Notsaka*

This is Commander Jhiru Notsaka of the EMS-7207 "Lünåï" speaking.  We have noticed that a number of your craft have surrounded the Lünåï in efforts to join us, but we are about to jump to a region of the universe that will require you to move out of the range of 674km of the Lünåï.  This process will be destructive to any ship that uses GnFTL Engines, excluding the Lünåï.  Please either move your ships out of the way or dock them in any of the four docking bays in the bottom of the ship.  You have five minutes to respond.  Thank you.

The ships move to a safe distance and prepare to jump to the provided coordinates as well.

I don't think you'll be able to jump that far in one trip.  If you wish to come with, the best idea would be to use the hangars available to you on the Lünåï.

No, you don't understand, the type of jump that we have to make will distort coordinates for six days.  Space time will be distorted and will not settle for a while.  If you jump to what you know as -208.21978, 084.53722, -191.04401, you will jump to somewhere else that can be lightyears off from the location, even a parsec away.  GnFTL engines in use while teleporting without special Telur modifications will result in space-time distortion.  It is imperative that you stay away from any large masses for 48 hours after the jump.  Basically any craft not specially modified to make that kind of jump, IE none in existence, they will be scrambled for a few days and will be unable to jump.  Inside of the cargo hold, however, anything will be just fine and will make the jump intact and in thirty minutes.

WELL YA COULDA INFORMED ME WHEN THAT DEVELOPMENT WAS MADE SO I COULD MAKE THE UPDATES MAN

Can I become a civilian or a patron of someone's country?
