im talking about the fanbase of the yogscast

You notice on those games that were greenlit, it says "This game
was greenlit by the community." Valve does not choose the games.

That doesn't necessarily mean Steam doesn't pick and choose which games get on board. Their system is vague, we don't know if the top-rated are the lucky winners or otherwise.

The most that really says is they're giving credit to the voters, for "making it possible" to get it greenlit.

Also,
Maybe next year.

Haven't they been picking games each month so far?

I'm disappointed that yogventures got in, That game doesn't look in any way unique or fun, The only reason it did is because they got their million+ fanbase to vote on it.
Sadly you can't really hold them in contempt.
Greenlight is just as much for getting "indie" games on that were always going to be successful, as it is for getting new games with no current market or fanbase.
YogVentures doesn't need the additional money and fanbase via Steam for it to be a success. It would get that just via Yogscast fans. But it's equally entitled to apply for entry to Steam via Greenlight.
And the fact that it has a massive following just means it's gonna be guaranteed to get on, as will any other games that come from big backgrounds.

But, nevermind! We weren't entirely expecting to get in first round.
We've jumped up 21 spaces immediately though. So long as we can maintain interest in Blockland and continue to spread the word around as much as possible, then we've got a better chance next time.
Just because we didn't get in now doesn't mean we won't later.

Yeah i would say Blockland has a pretty good chance of getting in next month, If it was 20 this month it might be 30 next month.

This has always been a stigma in the community but to get Blockland some real recognition by the handicapped community there may be no choice BUT to port it to Torque 3D, no matter how long it takes.

Of course, there's always problems with that. So much of BL would have to be rewritten. But if all they care is how the game looks..

Man, this sucks.

Frankly no one should care because it'll get there anyway.

You're kind of stupid you know that?

stufftiest excuse and reason for it to be ported. Wouldn't make that much of a difference and would be a waste of time. You're trying to hard. Get the hell out.

It'll come to you. Just wait.
