yeah, the more original servers get very few people joining, it seems like
sunsoaked sanctuary was full two days running, so i have to disagree
people do, apparently, enjoy quality, so that's a great trend
Well, we COULD start taking action. By that, I mean we start hosting the kind of servers that we think are improvements to what is already out there.
It may be possible to open some peoples eyes to some more hosting opportunities. Some people probably have no idea what to host except for what they already see in the server list every day.
Starting something more popular and bearable sounds like a good plan. But first things first is getting a good idea into motion.
i've been talking about how to address this for some time now. i think i might have mentioned it on the forums, but i'm nobody to organize big events
the idea, by the way, is creating a sort of "grand prix"; 20 people fight throughout the course of 4 deathmatches (randomly selected out of a much larger 'pool') to earn points- the winner getting 10, and then ticking down for each successive placing behind him
this, of course, would require people to build deathmatches: serving as a sort of call-to-arms to actually create stuff instead of just making copies of what they see
possibly more incentive could be made by offering prizes, like new content (MORE toys to play with!) for anyone who makes a featured deathmatch (and as a runner-up prize) and even more new content for the champion
The map was a decent setup and the weapons were good. It wasn't like those grapple knife games.
you put together 2 maps and used the most cookie-cutter weaponry available
your only comment on this was that
you didn't get as many people as you hopedyou are
exactly why i am so pissed off
