Author Topic: 200 bucks if I bring 3 F's to C's  (Read 8831 times)

No its not. Shes paying him to be average.

She should let him get held back for being an idiot. That would teach him to actually try.
I concur with the above.
people shouldn't get paid just to try harder, they should try harder because they WANT to succeed. The goal is good grades and what they will result in, this is just teaching him "not-as-stuffty grades = $$$"

You're in 8th grade and you're failing school lol good luck with life

What? You're handicapped. If money is required as motivation to get your kid to pass, then it's good parent to teach your kid to be successful.
C's are below average. (I think, it's been a while since I was in middle school) Motivating someone to get below average marks doesn't seem right. It'd be better to have a scaling reward that increases as the grade increases.

well, that's how it's going to be when he grows up

Probably considering I get extremely low grades, a C is really high for me.

not about you
Hey, bitch to him first
What the forget? I haven't turned in a piece of homework since sixth grade and I have better grades than you do.

I was going to buy a hard drive and a new motherboard for my PC.
how is this related
were you actually looking to get loving $200 from us?

I really hope you read the OP.

Yeah, a scaling system would be superior, but you have to understand that it's not the beginning of the year anymore. It's implausible for him to get higher than a C. Even a C is pushing it, I don't know if he can do it.

Either you guys clearly have no idea how a school system works or you've just been brought up by terrible, abusive parents.

I gave an example of how I'm way better than him at school even though I do no homework, I didn't post my grades for no reason.

I still have 4 more years to succeed.

I doubt you're in 8th grade, I don't know what year I learned algebra but 46/2 isn't exactly hard math. That's a terrible judge of if he's in 8th grade.
No it wouldn't. If I got held back I'd drop out of school and start a business. It doesn't work like that.
But thats the thing, in 8th grade you wouldnt be doing that. I know you like to try and keep up the whole "im super-rich and smart and better than you" routine but sometimes you just go so far with it I cant even take you seriously.
