sorry for getting in the way of more important issues here but I heard once in the previous thread that AMD processors bad, are they?
the one I'd like to know specifically about is an AMD A8 APU 3.2GHz with a 4mb cache

Don't get an APU if you have an actual graphics card, if you're going to get an APU then get an A10 or higher

Okay, letme list my specs
AMD FX6300
Gigabyte GTX650
Sentey® Gaming Case Optimus Gs-6000r
8GB of DDR3, Maybe upgrading to 16GB RAM
And suggest me a good motherboard

answer to this first though or I'll feel horrible

i don't even plan on running games at max settings, I'll be running them at the lowest
Why would you upgrade then?

You can get a better case than that for the price, you don't need more than 8GB of RAM. What's your budget for all this?

I doubt you'd even be running them at the lowest, if I'm honest

Why would you upgrade then?
I'm not upgrading anything, my original computer is fried and it's from late 2006

I doubt you'd even be running them at the lowest, if I'm honest
I should probably specify what games I'm planning on playing to you over steam

Well, my birthday is at january, near newyear and xmas wich will give me about 500 of emone.
I currently have 150 euro.
And I get 30+25 euro/month
I am willing to spend... EVERYTHING. I have
you don't need more than 8GB of RAM.
Everytime I have to video edit something my preview render is bad as forget and laggy so I nearly can edit.
And pre-rendering stops in half because I run out of RAM unless I pre-render in a bad quality where I have to push my face agains't the screen to see a thing.

But thats not importand for now, maybe later.

So roughly 870 euro, are you buying an entire PC or is there anything you don't need to replace?

My RAM, and sound card.
And I'm probably buying the CPU later if I don't have enough.
It all comes to 380$ (€269)
Now a good motherboard and we are good to go.

So you don't have a HDD or PSU?

So you don't have a HDD or PSU?
I have a 1TB HDD and I calculated the new PSU with it. (the one Pentium suggested)

What about an OS?
Windows 8
On my harddrive
I have everything I need, I'm just upgrading but the case is too small and the motherboard is stuff.

Find a case you like that fits in your budget and add it to that, should be good enough for everything you want to do
