and in a game that attracts 8-10 year olds

Kids that age actually want blood and gore these days.

I never found Blood and Gore to fit into Blockland as well. The way to go would be body parts falling, however another game has done this already. We could however have the player turn into a skeleton or something and that can break apart.

because blockland polls are always going to be accurate...
Yeah nevermind what the people want!

I've never had a problem with the Blood and Gore mod, but it should be an optional thing at least

If you are complain about it, then remove it.

...do you ever go to the development section and watch for updates?

to me seeing a plastic looking mini fig bleed is kinda out of place.

the blood doesn't bother me though.

Yep, I do

I don't really care about the whole blood and gore thing, but I think it's out of place.

8-10 year olds

who ever said that was the target market? our average age is higher then that anyway.

Like I posted on the main thread of the revision, we now qualify for a M rating.

This means more Mature and Older players, instead of the younger ones.
In my opinion thats good, we will stop being called a kids game.

On the other hand I think there should be a feature to turn it off for those who don't like it.

Yep, I do

Well? If blood and gore is in racing gamemode, you can't remove it I guess? That's why there's a topic?

we dont qualify for any rating because the ESRB is a private company that works with distributors and retailers.
They created their own unofficial standards system so to force outside companies to comply with industry standards they themselves wanted.

plus indy games dont apply
plus online games cant be rated anyways

so much stupid around here

If it where, and online interactions aren't rated but Blood and gore is enabled in singleplayer.

Either way if Blockland where ever released in stores it would need to be rated one way or another.

It is.
