In the blog post they do describe these as "a very early look at them".
So, hopefully they'll improve on these. I hope this at the moment is really just a conceptual image of how they might look.

I think it looks even stufftier in the alternate image they released.

It needs an additional pivot point towards the end of the tail, IMO.

Have you been following the development of the game, because they're doing quite a bit in that area, in creating new quest lines, boss fights, missions, and having redesigned the progression of materials/tools from the ground up.
