Starbound Megathread - Version 1.3.2

Took me like 20 loving tries. From 20k pixels I got to like 100. At least it's not at the end of a long bloody dungeon like the Erchius Crystal is.
High-damage melee and high-damage range, a shield and the gnome gun or a high-rapid fire weapon is the only best combo you could get for that stuff. Everything else will likely end in failure.
Use the gnome gun / fast ranged weapon to destroy the rockets.
Use the shield to block the energy balls. Try to get perfect blocks because the shield will get destroyed quickly if you just put it up.
Use melee to attack the robot while it moves around and after the charge stun.
Use the ranged during the flamethrower phase, and as soon as you fall down in the arena.
Also recommend pulse jump to avoid it's charge and jump over it while it uses flamethrower.

I don't know if I can host. A friend and I tried and it didn't work, might be a port forwarding issue in which case I can't fix it since I'm in a college dorm. Thanks for the offer though. :/

I haven't really tested this yet but the old savefiles are located in Starbound/koala_storage/players... Moving this to Starbound/giraffe_storage/players would technically give you back the old characters.
Universe as well, but I would not recommend it due to the new features. Even the player files wouldn't necessarily work due to new items and all but maybe you can still scavenge back most of the resourcse you had collected.

alright heres the situation

i was playing with leetzero and nav on LZ's server, and i do the thing to fix my ship's FTL drive; the server crashes with a runtime error, and when it boots back up, my ship is in this state



the ship's drive is still broken, but the option to fix it doesn't appear anymore.

one thing i thought to do was to upgrade the ship once, maybe that fixes it. i did all the quests, went to the penguin bay, forget no. it's not openable.

does anyone have any solution to this other than just using a brand new character

Help me, since the new update all i can do is make a character but when i click play the game freezes and i gotta shut it down, has anyone got a fix or do i need to restart something?
