I wish they'd done more with the planet exploration, Ship building doesn't really interest me :(

So me and a guy have been busy building sector long ships. We have 350k Harden grey hull and we're going for the long powerhouse tube ship.
Emphasis on killing everything, details are not needed well because that's stupid to begin with. One half will be power based, the other will have amc
cannons everywhere, all connected and centered by a 1x1 amc. We have the frame and half the amcs up and they do about 6k a shot now.

They can sustain fire for about 15 seconds I would say, and we've already raided bases with ease.

I must say, it is truly an impressive game, however, I will say something that has bugged me quite a bit. The difficulty curve is brutal. You step one foot off the training station, and you immediately get butt raped by pirate ships that snipe you from sectors away. Anyway, great game, can't wait till it is fully finished.

Picked up this game again after a few months. Seems that the pirates are a lot harder than they used to be. Also, I cant seem to fix an fps issue when im fighting pirates. I didn't have that  issue months ago.
