Rift's dungeons are fantastic, Not easy in any way. The community is awesome and the game world is just so good, Storm legions expansion areas are even better. I like the characters too, And so many achievements that actually give you titles and minipets and things. oh and dimensions where you can build houses and guild houses or mazes or whatever you want, And eventually you'll be able to make your own dungeons and things. And the little sparkly collectables that you can trade in sets of for money and mounts or clothing and things, And Crafting Rifts and Raid Rifts and PVP Rifts and~ Oh man.

RIFT is not my cup of tea, but it is good from what I've seen.

Sweet, I've been wanting to try this but couldn't deal with the monthly fee, cant wait for this.
What do we have to do for that free copy of Rift?  I would like it.

The free copy of Rift i have comes with 30 days free time, You can also download Rift now and play until I think level 10 or 15 or something. So you might want to play now and decide what class + souls you want :D But like i said, You need to buy the expansion to get the 3 expansion souls.


Tempest is actually an amazing soul, Since mage is still ranged his skills change his staff into things like scythes and swords and things.


I'm not sure if it lets you be a tank mage, It might. I've not played with it enough.

I have a video of me making a house in the storm legion beta though :D Not very well though, It was the first day of beta and didn't know about things like copy and paste or the addon that gives you exact degrees and things.

Dimensions are sorta end game since you have to buy each part separately, I think a plank of wood was about 5 silver maybe? There are other dimension areas that cost like 500 plat.

Turns out it might already have been used. I'm sure I have another copy somewhere though.

If you get experienced with Rift on Raptr You can get the game + expansion, I'm not sure how much time experienced is though.

There are rare rifts now that are tie ins with defiance, You can get mounts and companions from them.

The world is too big and the characters and world isn't fancy enough.

It feels too... blank for me.  I couldn't keep myself interested.  The races just don't feel too different, and the gameplay is just lacking.
