Pistol and pump shotgun vs regen half-health, aks, body armor, and maybe rpgs.

protip: use your combat/reg pistol on computer and your ap pistol on online players so your ammo wont burn out so loving fast

i like using the SMG towards AIs because of it's reliability and that it's automatic, i only use the Combat Pistol towards AIs on the first round of Survival.

the pistols are a great way to get headshots on Online players though

I use pistol on foot and micro SMG in a vehicle. Rarely any exceptions.
It's also cheap as forget to maintain.
