I actually do. Don't push through and make one sided assumptions about things you do not know.
You've been stuff on by major media outlets, multiples of entire forums and just generally lots of hate comments been sent to you privately? If that's true then fine - maybe you're just better than most people at taking that much stuff, but it doesn't mean can.
Maturity defines how you react in any situation. You want to make this about the people who are calling him out for being an starfish. When in fact its his own personality type that has caused the problem. This is mostly on him. You can bring up that he apologized for the previous shenanigans but as a repeated offender it really is his own fault for lacking the fortitude and strength to do what most developers should and ignore them. Not throw a temper tantrum and continually ruin any credibility he has.
But it's not completely his fault, because a lot of it is just people sending the comments in the first place. This stuff doesn't just happen because someone decides to, it happens because of a cause and that cause is all the people who send him hate.
I understand why you sympathize but there is too much on him for it to be only the peoples fault. I am not denying the fact that they are now trying to purposefully provoke him. The mechanics to the situation are simple.
I don't think it's 100% of the people's fault I suppose. I think it's partly his fault but it doesn't mean he's a completely horrible person, he made some mistakes but still.
you're forgetting that what started this all is him throwing stuff at people who criticized his game and made valid points to back up their statements. he has only himself to blame for being an adult crybaby lol
i mean, IF you're going to resort to throwing stuff at people who give your game a negative score, the least you could do is NOT act like a toddler
That just isn't true. It started during Fez's development for one thing but for the rest we've already been over how it actually started.

If you're discussing an issue within the games industry (which at this point it is), then normally you should know basic facts, figures and people that surround it. You don't need to know them but for a conversation like this you do.

Like I said - he's pretty much never a richard without being provoked. An eye for an eye. Sure, he probably shouldn't reply but at the same time that's nowhere near on the level of being a richardweed to everyone at every opportunity.
