I could be wrong but I feel like the only reason he posted about the trailer in the OP in the first place was to get the attention of the community so they would make it. A trailer isn't really very relevant to the rest of the OP otherwise, he didn't have to mention it. If he was planning on making it himself with Rotondo then he probably would have just went ahead and made it and let it be a sort of surprise.
