Do you really make a proper "salary" out of it? I mean, not many skins are sold outside of market, and i doubt many people are willing to buy skins using real money transactions

There is a website called OPSkins in which people can sell skins and transfer the money to a paypal account.

Ffs its a friggin video game. You know, it pisses me off when people who play CSGO are extremely exclusive about their inventory. I understand that csgo isn't one giant donation center and that i am probably just butt hurt over the fact that i can't get a knife. But, i mean come one its a video game. I saw this streamer once where he had an assimov where the scope was completely black, and he said "i think i have to go get this appraised". I cringed so hard on the stupidity of that. ITS A MOTHERF****** VIDEOGAME. Also, why do you need 100K worth of stuff for a video game just WHY??? I understand that you can sell it, but i don't see that happening. Let me just play the jackpot and win something... OH WOW! I won 500 let me just horde this for a long time and do nothing with it, and maybe i can play again and do the same thing! So, i really don't see why everyone is so exclusive about asking for something when you have 300 of them.

Its true though, i get the collecting is a hobby but there is taking it too far. I am not saying that the guy who I was talking about or the guy i asked a knife from is taking it too far, i am saying that there are people out there who act like the game is a job. I was just using the streamer as an example and for some reason everyone thinks its directly aimed at the guy i asked a knife from (what ever is IGN is). And as someone said earlier, reading comprehension is a good tool.

I knew this game had a pro scene, you're taking my whole argument out of context. I said that there are people who bet skins and do raffles as part of their job. The pro scene has nothing to do with this and neither does live streaming. I know how pros get paid and i know how streamers get paid. If you have a job off of brtting and gambling, i think you need to rethink some things.
I don't care if i said that, his whole argument was bs and i didn't want to bother with correcting him, so i said top kek someone just got out of bed. As for smurfs, everytime i come across one, they are immature, they make fun of everyone in that rank, and they ruin the game for other people.
It's not a job out of betting and gambling, my partner doesn't have that inventory out of betting and gambling. Maybe you need to rethink from what I've posted.
