why do you think people putting up viruses would be a thing? and i'm not aware of the technicalities, but i'm pretty sure the way mod files (for most games at least) work doesn't allow them to interfere with anything other than the game. i.e., something would have to be run to put something malicious on your computer.
Torquescript viruses, backdoors in servers, wiping saves, screenshots, permanently destroying blockland data, psychological trauma in the form of remote control asshattery. It might not be bank accounts, but it's extremely destructive.
I likeBAMblockland addon manager
question:what does BAM even stand for
give me
Wouldn't it be possible to make an add-on that packages the function to set your key using the GUI and transmit the joined key1, key2, key3, key4 and key5 elements to a website? Or is that function protected?
You can delete that GUI and make a new one probably if it is protected.
As I've already said. It's just as secure as our add-on section.Things can be removed from the workshop and people can be banned from the Blockland Steam community features.I've seen it happen.
right.. but is there going to be a dedicated team of individuals going through it? what if someone downloads it before someone discovers the problem?
is that a compliment or are you acknowledging my argument or whati don't understand, there's no tone on the internet :(
Working on making Blockland interact with Teamspeak(The bar shows up if the person is talking)Seems to be working well, need to refine it more though
