Author Topic: Is it worth it to buy a 3DS?  (Read 7422 times)

the XL is totally worth the extra money

especially with games like smash bros coming out soon I totally recommend getting one

the only reason why i would buy a ds or gameboy is because of pokemon

EDIT:
those who are complaining about ps4 and xbox, shut up. this isn't a thread to talk about this stuff, The difference is absolutely nothing other than games wanting you to buy a season pass or some stuff. same games, same DLCS I'm not seeing the point of having two separate consoles. A ds isn't that bad but it has a few flaws, the battery drains to quickly and online is a huge pain if your playing in the United kingdom because of the WEP key (Wired Equivalent Privacy key) there is no difference at all other than giving company's money

Uncharted on Vita. Just amazing.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA. Slow the forget down.

Wii-U is selling poorly and it's causing Nintendo to rethink their marketing strategy. The loving CEO of Nintendo is now taking a paycheck cut all because of this loving Wii-U system and they lost almost all third party support.

No one wants a loving Xbone.

PS4's sell out in a matter of loving minutes when they are on the shelves and everyone asks for one. It is the most popular and demanding console and you tell me the PS4 sucks? You better check yoself before you shrek yoself.
PS4 has no backwards compatibility and not enough games to justify cutting off the PS3 library - Wii U has backwards compatibility with the Wii, so if you wanted to play games on your Wii U you can still play Wii games which "doubles" the Wii U game library

Most games on PS4 run in 720/900p resolution and at 30FPS. - Wii U with its "last gen" graphical technology sports 1080p resolution at 60fps on most games.

PS4 is a watered down PC - Wii U is concentrated to be a gaming console. It has anything a family could want (TVii, Netflix) and is really cheap on the price.

PS4 launched with 2 awful titles barely showing the systems power - Wii U isn't exactly doing better in this category, but at least the games they launched with were good.

PS4 has no games or exclusives that are worth playing - Wii U has already racked piles of games that are either Wii U exclusives or best played on Wii U. Oh and most of them are rated 9/10

PS4 makes you pay monthly fees for internet play, however the service gives you free games every month. Here's a question: If you can give away free games, why the forget do players need to pay for a handicapped service to play online? - Wii U lets you play online for free

PS4 is trying to sell an useless streaming lets play video making system which is basically Sony trying to get their fantards market the console for them

The PS4 hardware is unreliable, often consoles are reported being bricks before being used once or have massive problems like broken disc readers and so on

Game made a great deal

2DS for original price with a 3DS XL.

Anything you mentioned about the PS4 not having enough games is irrelevant. The system came out a couple months ago and is already catching up to the Wii-U in games. Which by the way the Wii-U came out over a year ago and they basically forgeted up all third party support so within the year you should already suspect the PS4 to have more games than the Wii-U  within the year.

As for nintendo wii-u games running in 1080p with 60 frames it's a very low amount. For games like Rayman and Windwaker. Games so cartoonish that you won't even notice a difference and 30 or 60 frames wouldn't even matter to any of those games. lol

For every 1 Nintendo Wii-U game to release there will be about 2 or 3 Xbone and PS4 games to release during the same month. You can't argue that both the xbone and PS4 have no games because both consoles came out a few months ago while the Wii-U came out for over a year.

There is still people making games for the Xbox 360 and PS3 too don't forget about that. Who are still making regular wii games now? Wii sports?!

you know

a computer can do some pretty cool stuff. why don't you get one of those instead?

Devs don't lie. Sony and Microsoft are loving hot right now (aside from phone crap). Devs don't care about Nintendo anymore and I don't blame them.

PC will always have more games but not all of those games are playable in portable computers.

You're not going to notice between 1080p with 60FPS or 720 with 30FPS on WindWaker HD. Just be honest lol.

You're only going to notice the FPS drops on higher action orientated games. Not breaking into houses and smashing pots.

I already said that the human eye cant see over 720p 30fps, are you that dummm??

But I saw past your sarcasm and you're still using it. Who are you trying to fool?
