The last 4 people I gifted this game to don't even play it.

okay wow that's actually kind of richardish
i can understand not playing a game like hl2 or borderlands after a while but

maybe they're just waiting until they have a better pc to run the game on

Well i can see someone not playing it fi they tried it and cant get into it. I know i couldnt get into it unless i had a friend play it with me.

Plus it can be a little daunting at first.

yeah, that too. gave it a try at a friend's a while ago, it's not an easy game to get into.

I'd say planets are on the horizon

hopefully in survival if you dont drain the hangar of oxygen and open it your ship's inside is crushed like a tin can

"Rockets cause less damage"

Its about damn time

"Rockets cause less damage"

Its about damn time

Gatling turrets still do basically nothing

Time to use mods

ugHHHHH

the weapons dichotomy in the basic game is PRETTY AWFUL

Update: Oxygen now has a function besides for fun, now with suits having to carry oxygen with them. They added oxygen blocks and conveyor slots onto small ship roosterpits so you can supply your small ships with oxygen. Suits use up less energy when helmet is off, and you will not die if your suit runs out of energy while in a pressurized room.
Oxygen can now be stored in "bottles" (which I think is weird. It would have been better if it was tanks or something) which are needed to resupply your suit with oxygen. It's also a way to transport oxygen.

Also: Space Balls. Balls in space.

I would love this game if I actually had a computer that could run it.

I bought the game before even checking the system specs, was a terrible mistake.

Runs at 3 FPS on a good day.

Oh well. My fault, really.

When you do get your computer, though, you'll own the game. I think the price for it went up since it started out, so that's not too bad. And I'm sure by the time you can play it it will have a lot of cool features out already.

New Upate:

Woa guys, awesome update today.
When rooms depressurize, objects will be affected and will fly out of the ship until all air is removed.
Helmets can now be taken off on whim with the J key, but now can suffocate the player if your suit doesn't have air but you're in a pressurized room. There is now also an indicator on your HUD that displays if your helmet is on or off.
This one I like. You can now hide blocks in the terminal, and have an option to show these hidden blocks or not. Hidden blocks are greyed out if they're shown. Now your terminal can be less clustered by the infinite lights you have installed, and also groups will always be visable, even if the blocks are hidden.

One scenario has been added to the game and is an introduction to the scenario system. Keen says its a work in progress. Need to fix a damaged ship while being shot at. Fun stuff.

I'm currently working on a large ship that uses only default blocks. Its always been difficult for me to focus on projects, but I'm actually close to finishing this one. That would make 2 ships I would actually have completed, and 10 others that I've scrapped. Good job, me.

Anyone have any cool stuff they've done since recent awesome updates, like oxygen and stuff?

New Update:

We can now set roosterpits to be the main roosterpit, making it so you could only pilot the ship with that roosterpit. Other roosterpits can still use other systems. It works as a counter to people being able to build a roosterpit onto your ship and steal it.
First-person view can now be forced in server options. I've always loved this idea for added immersion and for more realism and having to build cameras now to be able to pilot your ship. lovey.
Buttons now display what they do when you mouse over them. These hints can be changed in the control panel and can be deleted to have a blank button like usual. Button descriptions will be added automatically when you assign it a function.

Hey guys, I finally finished my vanilla block ship and uploaded it to the workshop! Its now 4 stars front page of the weekly most popular, so I'm pretty happy about that. Check it out: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=424676137&searchtext=
