Instead of having an "honerable mentions" room, instead you can call it the "people who begged to be in the game" room; and everything there is a low quality jpeg upload of their forum avatar.

What I was kinda thinking of for the story is that Man of Reason hacked into the forums and corrupted everyone in it, and its up to the player to bring cloudflare to the "core" of the forums before MoR takes down the forums forever.

All I see is DrenDran bashing on you because he thinks he's so much better for making his own stuff. But honestly don't you think you should put a little more effort into it? I would go for more like Counter Strike 2D on the sprite/art/whatever side of things.

Everyone on the artist team are pixel artists, and we have already started on the sprites, so there's nothing much we can do. They do look good, though.

Honestly I feel like the only reason this game would crash is if people continue to bash on the fact it uses pixel art causing the team to just say "forget it" and stop making the game

so pretty much, if you don't like the pixel art then don't complain about it.

It's not the fact that it's pixel art, it's the fact that it's low-effort, stuffty pixel art. I mean what does it take like five minutes max to make a single character? Really? Make them look a little bit nicer and able to actually have detail and it'll be a lot better.

If you're not willing to put in effort for the characters and objects I don't think it's too wild to assume you aren't willing to put in effort for anything else.
